Our mission is to promote the use of local expertise - what we call “Local Business Mile” - and to showcase the value of working with home-grown talent.

Coastalnet is a friendly and inclusive networking group for businesses in the Suffolk Coastal region. We offer a platform for local enterprises to connect, collaborate, and support one another. Our mission is to promote the use of local expertise—what we call “Local Business Miles”—and to showcase the value of working with home-grown talent.
There are no exclusions—every business is welcome, and there’s no "lock-out" policy.
Where and When
We meet on the third Wednesday of each month, from 9:30am to 11:30am, at 1975, Gobbitts Yard, Woodbridge.
How it Works
Each attendee introduces their business with a short, punchy 140-character "tweet":
Your name, your business, and what you do—quick and clear.
Most sessions include a guest speaker, and we also host regular social events.
At Coastalnet, we keep things simple:
Come when you can—we all run businesses!
Everyone is welcome. No lock-outs. No fuss. Just great local networking.
